Cardville United Pentecostal Church
Following Jesus, wherever we are.
At Cardville United Pentecostal Church, we embrace the full process of salvation described in the Book of Acts, including repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We recognize that the Bible teaches the existence of one God who is seated on the throne.
A brief overview of our essential doctrines
No one is without sin, and we all need to be saved. This can be done through grace and faith in the redeeming power of Jesus Christ. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)
The Bible is the authoritative and unerring Word of God, and it is the source of salvation and guidance for how Christians should live. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.)
The gospel of salvation is the good news that Jesus gave His life for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead. We comply with the gospel through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial indication of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit imparts the words. (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)
As Christians, we should show our love for God and for others by living a life that is holy both inwardly and outwardly. We should also express our love for God through joyful worship. Additionally, we should be aware that the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, such as healing, are still available to the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)
Join us as we gather in faith, embracing a community that seeks to uplift, inspire, and grow together. Experience the power of love, compassion, and transformative worship as we journey towards a deeper connection with God and one another.
